Our Strategies

We have the leading of God to deploy the following strategies in achieving the vision committed into our hands;

WORD CUP (BIBLE COMPETITION)

Word Cup is a monthly Bible Competition organized to enable young people draw closer to God via His Word, have an improved bible study culture and eventually get them schooled in the knowledge of God’s Word. It’s a known fact that wrong addiction and usage of phone, internet, technology and many other social vices have largely taken the place of studying God’s Word in the lives of many young people. The devil is all out to ensure that young people get disconnected from God and the knowledge of his Word. It’s to this end that God gave us this directive to have young people study God’s Word passionately and the strategy is to organize a monthly Bible competition called WORD CUP. Teenagers and youths; irrespective of age, class, school, background, denomination, provided they can read and write are expected to read a particular book of the Bible, Write an Exam on it and thereafter Participate in an Oral Quiz. The first five (5) winners are then rewarded as follows:

1^st Position – Payment of One Term/Semester School Fee

2^nd Position – Payment of 50% of One Term/Semester School Fee

3^rd Position – Payment of 40% of One Term/Semester School Fee

4^th Position – Payment of 30% of One Term/Semester School Fee

5^th Position – Payment of 20% of One Term/Semester School Fee

We have had a total of about eighty (80) winnerswhose school fee had been paid according to the prizes won to the glory of God both at Ebute-Metta and Badagry branches of YWAP. Through this strategy, we are set to bring up a generation of God fearing, God conscious, God driven Teenagers and Youths who will be addicted to God, studying their Bible passionately, and win the battle over the devil.

SCHOOL OF VISION AND DISCOVERY OF PURPOSE (SOVP), SCHOOL OF THE WORD (SOTW) & SCHOOL OF PRAYER (SOP)

The school arm of the ministry is a mandate received from God to help young people discover and pursue God’s purpose for their lives early, equip them with the Word of God and help them build an effective and consistent prayer life. Each of the schools runs at least twice in the year for a period of minimum two months. Through the school arm, the vision of the ministry is significantly achieved because it provides a platform for young people to experience the core values of the ministry. Attending these schools is prerequisite to participating in the Word Cup Competitions.

THE KING’S SONS AND DAUGHTERS FORUM:

The Kings’ Sons and Daughters Forum is a mandate received from God to help young people stay sexually pure. Monthly programs are organized under this forum where questions around sexual purity, building Godly relationships and friendships, breaking from wrong relationships, sexual addictions, morality and Godly standards, etc., are addressed. Under this forum, young people have been delivered from erroneous teachings on this subject matter and are empowered to live a morally decent and godly life.

OUTREACHES & CRUSADES

YWAP has an evangelical mandate to reach out to the lost on the streets, corners and towns. We do this only as driven by the Holy Spirit. We had weekly outreaches to Fatiregun and Ilaje Lagos every Mondays before the recent demolition took place that displaced all dwellers in that area. We visited the said locations and had times of fellowship with them. We also reached out to them with our material blessings from time to time. We have held several power packed crusades alongside our cooperate social responsibility where clothing materials, food stuffs and free medical services were rendered to the people aside the spiritual impact.

 

YWAP CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP

God extended YWAP into campus operation towards the end of 2022. It’s a deliberate attempt by God to reaching out to young people at the tertiary institution. YWAP Campus fellowship has begun in FUNNAB AbeaokutaOgun state with two locations (Mawuko and Alabata) with the objective of having students to have a balanced life bearing in mind the fulfilment of this vision.

 

ANNUAL CAMP MEETINGS

In 2024, YWAP in collaboration with The Children Evangelical Program (CEP) and Teenagers Evangelical Program (TEP) had the 9^th Annual Teenagers and Youth Camp meeting with over 600 participants in attendance. It’s a four day annual camp meeting targeted towards capturing, transforming, building, and making young people become what God has ordained them to be and fortify their soul against the corruption that is in the world. This camp meetings has been a landmark event over the years and the largest gathering of young people all across the nation, filled with undeniable impact and grace.

 

YWAP E-LIBRARY

YWAP E-Library is a mandate received from God to Take Over Mental Territories. On this platform, inspirational books that addresses different areas of life are read and reviewed on weekly basis via our online platforms. The overall goal is to have mental transformation and raise a generation of young people that would take over territories and become leaders in their own sphere of influence.

 

YWAP WEEKLY ENCOUNTER MEETINGS AND CONFERENCES

The YWAP weekly meetings and conferences is the platform where young people meet every Sunday afternoon for a time of fellowship and revival. The primary objective of this meeting is to make young people encounter God, plant a continuous hunger and desire in them to pursue God and the interest of His Kingdom. These meetings has been of great impact since inception.

YWAP WEEKLY FASTING AND PRAYERS (OFFICIALS)

This is specifically designed for every official of the ministry and anyone who loves to pray and intercede for the destinies of young people. We strongly believe this move is ENTIRELY SPIRITUAL and requires people that would constantly keep the fire on the prayer altar burning. We also believe that there is a contention of hell over the destinies of young people. Satan is all out to capture their soul and hence the place of prayers and fasting cannot be overemphasized. We fast and meet every Friday’s from 6:00pm – 8:00pm to bare them up to God.

These are the few directions we have received from God. Nonetheless, we are constantly open to Him for further leading.

 

Our Delivery Channels

Our delivery channels are through direct physical meetings in our local environment and any other platform we are invited or privileged to minister/reach out to either within oroutside our local environment. Our activities are streamed online simultaneously to our online followers.

 

Our Members/Audience:

Our target members are the young people. We are called to serve/minister unto young people first and next to others as directed by the Holyspirit. We remain eternally committed to the younger generation in every family, tribe, territory, nations of the earth. The spiritual, mental, relational and academic wellbeing of young people are our priority and we channel our all to seeing that they are met.

Our Leadership/Officials:

YWAP’s success depends absolutely on the strength of those that bears the burden of the ministry. By the grace of God, we have been led to certain individuals who forms pillars of this ministry and also we have a leadership structure up to a national level by the inspiration of the Holyspirit, who are responsible for the effective management, control and administration of all our activities. Their expertise, sacrifice and personal commitments are the decisive factors that make us excel in all our ministrations and activities as a ministry; and that is why we set a high spiritual standards for the selection and capacity development of our officials.

Our Future Plans:

While waiting on the Lord concerning the future of the ministry, God spoke expressively to us again from Genesis 9:19, 10:18, 20, and 31 saying; “Youth with a Purpose (YWAP) is spreading like wildfire into families, tribes (tongues), lands, countries and nations. I the lord bring upon the over spreading anointing”.

The vision is for the whole world. We will give ourselves completely for and to this course. We prayerfully await the calling of the nations.
